Alex Paez & Milagros Cowan are a married couple from south Miami who are making headlines after getting hit with animal cruelty charges, again!

Reports say, Florida authorities found three ‘horribly emaciated’ and starved horses at the home of the bodybuilding couple. Last May, Miami-Dade Agricultural Patrol officials seized the animals. According to the Daily Mail, the horses’ hooves had not been trimmed in at least a year.

48-year-old Alex Paez was charged in May after four misdemeanor counts hang on his neck. He is scheduled for trial in December.

Now, is 50-year-old Milagros Cowan’s turn, she was arraigned Friday on the same charges as her husband, as reported by NBC.

The couple travels across the country to compete in body-building competitions. Social media photos show images of their ripped abs next to their one-time healthy horses.

According to his Facebook page, Alex Paez is originally from Cuba. Alex Paez & Milagros Cowan currently reside in Miami, Florida. Alex Paez & Milagros Cowan have been married since 2007.

Milagros Cowan is also known as Milly Paez-Cowan. The couple tied the knot on August 18, 2007.

According to his Bodybuilding page, Alex was 16th place at the 2015 NPC Miami Muscle Beach Contest.

According to the Miami Herald, it is not the first time the couple see themselves in this type of problems with the law. The had similar charges dropped four years ago after completing a pre-trial intervention intervention –a program for first-time offenders.

When the horses were being rescued, officials branded the stalls where the horses were being kept ‘filthy’ and said they ‘looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time’. Another said:

‘There was trash and dangerous debris everywhere, all over the ground, making it almost impossible to find a place to walk without stepping on something.”

All Alex Paez’s wife had to say was, the horses were just ‘a little thin’ and their hooves were ‘not that bad’.
According to officials from the The South Florida Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the horses have now gained a lot of weight. While the couple’s lawyer tells the new charges ‘are no big deal.”

The fitness model and figure competitor, is also a mom of five and grandmother. She calls herself a ‘farm girl.”

Hе wаѕ killed bу 21-year-old Thomas Johnson, a mentally ill fоrmеr football player, аѕ hе ran аlоng thе popular White Rock Creek Trail in Dallas оn thе morning оf October 12. On Sunday, a neighbor called police concerned thеу hаd nоt ѕееn Patti recently.

Shе wаѕ found dead in hеr Dallas home shortly аftеr 2pm fоllоwing a suspected suicide. A week аftеr David’s senseless murder, Patti told thе Dallas Morning News: ‘Dave wаѕ thе love оf mу life аnd I’m lost withоut him.

‘People nееd tо knоw thаt thiѕ wаѕ a wonderful person gоing оut аnd dоing whаt hе loved tо do.’

It tооk mоrе thаn a day bеfоrе thе 53-year-old wаѕ identified аѕ thе victim thrоugh fingerprints. But Patti, оf Sunnyvale, ѕаid ѕhе knew ѕоmеthing wаѕ wrong whеn hе did nоt return home thаt morning. Shе told thе newspaper ѕhе wаѕ struggling tо eat аnd sleep аѕ ѕhе triеd tо cope with thе grief, аnd wаѕ traumatized bу news reports аbоut hiѕ murder.

In a statement reported bу WFAA lаѕt week, ѕhе said: ‘This iѕ a horrible, senseless tragedy аnd wе аrе devastated with thе loss оf ѕuсh a wonderful man.

‘It hаѕ created a huge hоlе in оur hearts. Aѕ hiѕ family аnd friends begin tо grieve, wе wоuld аррrесiаtе bеing givеn оur privacy during thiѕ mоѕt difficult time.’

Thе alleged killer iѕ in custody аt Dallas County Jail charged with Stevens’ murder. Thomas Johnson, 21, a fоrmеr Texas A&M star whо iѕ diagnosed аѕ a schizophrenic, confessed tо thе murder tо police shortly аftеr it tооk place. Aссоrding tо аn affidavit, Johnson called police thаt day аnd confessed tо committing ‘capital murder’ – аnd added:

But Patti didn’t knоw thеrе hаd bееn a stabbing аt thе trail thаt day аnd оnlу bесаmе worried whеn hеr husband didn’t return home frоm hiѕ job аѕ аn engineer thаt Monday evening. Shе dеѕсribеd hеr husband аѕ a dedicated, passionate runner – whо woke uр еvеrу Monday, Wednesday аnd Friday аt 5.30am tо run 10 miles аrоund White Rock Lake.
Hе uѕuаllу саmе home straight аftеr work.

Sо whеn hе didn’t, ѕhе started calling police stations аnd thеn drove tо thе lake tо check thе parking lots thаt hе uѕuаllу used. Shе found hiѕ grey Toyota 4Runner SUV in thе third one. But it tооk аnоthеr day оf phone calls аnd a visit tо thе Dallas County morgue bеfоrе ѕhе learned thаt hеr husband wаѕ dead.
Thе couple, whо nеvеr hаd children, bоth wеnt tо Michigan State University – but thеу didn’t meet until graduation аnd immediately hit it off. Shе dеѕсribеd him аѕ ‘polite’ аnd ‘very humble’. Thеу moved tо Dallas tоgеthеr in 1989 аnd built thеir dream house in Sunnyvale, whеrе thеу bоth enjoyed living a simple life together.

Calvin Mitchell is a 35-year-old Illinois resident who happens to be the alleged long lost son of TV queen Oprah Winfrey!

About 4-years-ago the famous talk show host, revealed many details about her painful upbringing, including how she suffered from childhood abuse, thoughts of suicide, and the death of a baby out of wedlock.

Now Calvin Mitchell is ready to talk and tell the world his version of facts. The truck driver from Illinois recently shared in an interview he was scared for life after Oprah allegedly attempted to adopt him but later backed down.

According to RadarOnline, she met Oprah when he was a young boy. They established a close bond but she suddenly vanished from his life when he was a teen.

A still distraught Mitchell told Radar:

“I want to ask Oprah, ‘Why did you leave me? Why did you leave me?’” “I’m still empty,” he confessed. “I’m still searching. I don’t have closure to this. I just don’t understand.”

Calvin admits his faults, saying he dropped out of the expensive private school she paid for him when he was 17 and “dumb.” Oprah apparently never forgave him and didn’t look back. While Calvin Mitchell feels what she did, was wrong.

It was the year 1992, at the time an 11-year-old Calvin Mitchel was the an extra on the ABC-TV urban drama There Are No Children Here. That’s when the two met. One day, the young kid slipped past set security, picked a cold beverage out of a cooler, and offered it to Winfrey. She was so touched that she offered the youngster a job as her so-called “personal bodyguard,” according to Mitchell.

Filming ended but Calvin Mitchell and his relationship with Oprah and her partner, Stedman Graham continued until their fall out when he turned 17.

Calvin Mitchell is not Oprah’s biologic son of course. He is the son of 56-year-old Eva Mitchell. His mother’s opinion about Oprah’s interest in her son was: “It felt strange because I felt if someone wanted to help me with my children, that’s one thing. But to actually adopt one child knowing I have others? I couldn’t allow her to separate my children.”

Despite his biologic mother’s refusal to adopt him, Calvin Mitchell continued to enjoy the family treatment from Oprah and Stedman. The perks included going to Bulls games.

Calvin Mitchell attended the prestigious Piney Woods School but the teen by then, became homesick and left, despite Oprah’s plead to stay and finished his education. After his decision, Oprah and Stedman cut him out for good.

As a result, Calvin Mitchell enrolled in a Chicago high school. However, faced with depression and humiliation of being abandoned by Oprah, he dropped out again. He then struggled with bouts of wanting to end his life.

Gladys Leach was born Gladys Ekstadt. She first married aerospace equipment distributor and real estate developer, Eugene Kilmer with whom she had three sons: Mark, Val and Wesley Kilmer. She and Eugene Kilmer divorced when Val was only 9-years-old.

Her son Wesley Kilmer, drowned in September 1977 during an epileptic fit in the family swimming pool, he was 16. Her son Mark Kilmer has a Ph.D. in psychology.

Gladys Leach married a second time. Her second husband, William Bernard Leach died in 2011, he was 76. According to his obituary page, Mr. Leach was a former owner of the Kay El Bar guest ranch in Wickenburg, and was a prominent winter visitor to the community for the past 25 years. He was a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Leach graduated from Carrick High School and the University of Pittsburgh. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Mr. Leach was president of the G&W Leach Co. in Pittsburgh and attended the First Church of Christ Scientist in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He was also a member of the Christian Science Society in Wickenburg.

Gladys Leach and her second husband had one son, Gary William Leach who is married to Pat Leach.

Gladys Leach has dedicated her efforts to support the Carnegie Museums. She is a donor to Carnegie Museums and continues to do so in memory of her youngest son, Wesley. She currently resides in Arizona.

The Leach family owns a business in Pittsburgh, G&W Leach Company is a contractor in the Research and Development in the Social Sciences and Humanities industry.

After the alleged episode, David Mueller got kicked out of his job and filed a lawsuit against the 25-year-old star last month. But Taylor isn’t backing down and has filed a counterclaim against the former Denver radio host.

Colorado radio DJ David Mueller, also known as “Jackson” on a local country radio station says he was falsely accused by Taylor but she is saying a total different story.

The alleged incident occurred during a backstage event in June 2013, where Mueller attended a Swift concert meet-and-greet at the Pepsi Center with his girlfriend and a co-worker, CNN reported.

David Mueller and his girlfriend were chatting with Swift when she agreed to take a photo together. It was at that moment that he grabbed her butt! He and his girlfriend were kicked out of the concert.

Swift described the scene saying he lifted her “skirt with his hands and grabbed her bottom“. A few phone calls later and David Mueller got the boot. Her team merely provided evidence of the incident to the radio station which then made its own decision to terminate Mueller, a spokesperson for Taylor said.

David Mueller worked as co-host of the 98.5 KYGO Ryno and Jackson morning show. He has been working in the industry for over 2 decades and his suit claims he had met other stars including Britney, Mariah Carey, etc. without any previous incidents. He also calls Taylors claims ‘nonsense’  saying

The contention that Mr Mueller lifted up Ms Swift’s skirt and grabbed her bottom, while standing with his girlfriend, in front of Ms Swift’s photographer and Ms Swift’s highly trained security personnel, during a company sponsored, VIP, backstage meet-and-greet, is nonsense, particularly given that Ms Swift’s skirt is in place and is not being lifted by Mr Mueller’s hand in the photograph.”

The country music radio host, also sued his former employer, KYGO radio station. According to the Daily Mail, David Mueller did admit Taylor was assaulted but said he was the wrong guy and placed the blame on his superior at Denver radio station KYGO, named Eddie Haskell.

David Mueller had more than two decades of experience in the radio industry, working at stations in San Diego, Kansas City, Minneapolis and Columbus, Ohio, before landing at KYGO in Denver circa January 2013. At the time he attended the concert with girlfriend and co-worker, Shannon Melcher.

David Mueller is suing for lost wages.

Recovery will take 2 or more years but where there is life there is hope.

The last photo of Rita Bias and Nathaniel was in 2013, she lives in New York and he in Nevada. It is unknown if they are still married, divorce or just separated.

Leila Osseiran is the widow of Iraqi politician, Ahmed Chalabi. Her husband of 44-years passed away today, reports say.

According to Iraqi state media, Iraqi politician Ahmed Chalabi has died of a heart attack at age 71. Chalabi was chair of Iraq’s financial committee. Haitham al-Jabouri, secretary of that committee, said Chalabi was found dead in his Baghdad home.

Ahmed Abdul Hadi Chalabi was born October 30, 1944. Ahmed Chalabi was 14 years old when he was yanked from his lush family home in the Adhamiya neighborhood of Baghdad, and thrust into a new life of exile in the United States and Britain. In 1969 he earned a PhD from the University of Chicago and then taught for years at the American University of Beirut. He later launched a lucrative career as a banker.

Leila’s husband was one of the most controversial and colorful figures on the Iraqi political scene.

He is known in history as the man who persuaded Americans into invading Iraq and toppling Saddam Hussein, his hated enemy, in 2003.

Following the 2003 Invasion of Iraq, Ahmed returned to Baghdad from exile in the UK and US, and became a key figure in Iraqi politics.

When Chalabi fell out with the United States Department, he found a new political position as a Champion of Iraqi’s Shi’ites. Though the Iraqi political leader Ahmed Chalabi came to a find a good spot in Iraqi politics, the often controversial, always charismatic leader never managed fully throw off the legacy of his role in 2003, or the fallout from his stewardship of the Petra Bank in Jordan, which collapsed in the early 1990s.

Leila is the daughter of a prominent Lebanese politician. Her father, Adel Osseiran –who died in 1998 at age 93 –was a former Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, and one of the founding fathers of the Lebanese Republic. Leila is one of seven children: brothers, Abdallah (deceased) and Ali and sisters Zhour, Afaf, Samia, Zeina. Leila’s mother was Souad Al Khalil Osseiran.

Leila Osseiran is described as a homemaker, who spends her time between Beirut, London and Baghdad. She and Ahmed Chalabi were married in 1971. Leila Osseiran and her husband became the parents of four children. Leila Osseiran is the mother of two sons, Hadi and Hashim; and daughters, Mariam and Tamara (both pictured above with their father).

Daughter Tamara is an historian from Harvard University, while Miriam is a Cambridge-educated lawyer. Tamara Chalbi said once about her mother:

“My mother is a lovely woman who has withstood a lot with my father’s political career.”

Reports say the financial advisor from NY, Kimberly Ellis, was fined after her little over-sharing on Facebook caused a mistrial, since there were only 11 jurors left.

According tot the NY Daily News, the Queens juror blabbed in a detail-filled public postings about a 2014 robbery case she was hearing — the blonde also admitted in the posting that she was “dying from boredom.”

Kimberly Ellis got scolded by the judge and the Queen District Attorney’s office after she admitted to goof around and saying she was sorry. As a result she was slapped with a $1000 fine. She was dismissed and advised to get a lawyer.

According to her Facebook page, she has been a JP Morgan Chase Sales Executive since 1996 and previously worked at Heritage Bear Stearns.

According to an Advisor profile, Kimberly Ellis has over 21 years of experience and 2 exams passed, Kimberly Ellis is registered with FINRA as a Broker (sometimes referred to as a broker-dealer registered rep, or RR).

A remorseful Kimberly Ellis told media, “It was my first time as a juror, and I was naive.” I never meant to hurt anyone. I wasted a lot of people’s time and money, and I deeply regret what I did.”

Kimberly Ellis revealed she used to be married and is the mother of two children. The afraid mom of two said she was scared she might lose her job over her lack of good reasoning. She said her ex-husband is disabled and that she looks after her two children.

Kimberly Ellis indiscretion was outed by one of her FB friends, who turned out to be a a former federal and Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office prosecutor. Kimberly Ellis gave out explicit details of what was going on on jury deliberations.

When questioned on why she did it, she told the judge “Well, I sometimes — I suppose I forget it’s so public and it’s Facebook and it’s something that I use a lot,” Ellis replied. “And I’m pretty quiet in my day-to-day dealings with people, so it’s just a way for me to, you know, express myself.”

The actress Adriana Campos and her husband Carlos Rincon tragically lost their life in a traffic accident on Tuesday. Several Colombian outlets reported the news.

The press office of the artist confirmed that Campos and her partner, businessman Carlos Rincon, died in a car accident in the Lower Cauca.

The accident occurred in the southwest of Antioquia. The Antioquia Highway Patrol told newspaper El Colombiano, that the driver of the vehicle lost control and the car suffered a rollover and fell into a river. The couple, who has a child together were traveling alone.

Adriana Campos, was born in Chaparral Tolima, on February 27th, 1979. She left her hometown to pursue her acting dreams. She debuted in Colombian soap-operas in 2000.

The gorgeous Campos was nominated for two TV y Novelas awards for her performances in Neighbors (2008) and Bella Calamities (2010). Her 15-year career in the industry included roles in film, Television and Theater.

She and Carlos Rincon were married last year, according to the Latin Times. Adriana Campos and husband Carlos Alarcon became parents of one son. She gave birth to Gerónimo Rincón Campos on August 2014. The actress took the year off to focus on her son.

Carlos Rincon, also a Colombian native, met the actress in Medellin, while she was working on a play “Esto esta que arde.” They quickly hit it off and after a few dates they knew they were meant for each other. They were together for two years before she gave birth to their son.

In one opportunity the renowned actress, described her partner as a hardworking and loving man.

Authorities say that Rincon was driving the car at the time of the crash. Their bodies were taken to a hospital. It is unclear how Rincon lost control of the vehicle, one theory said Carlos Rincon fell asleep behind the wheel.

Following the tragic news, many Colombian actors and personalities took to social media to regret their death.

Cisneros who at the beginning wanted to remain anonymous with the aim to preserve Socality Barbie’s authenticity, created the Instagram about three months ago to poke fun at all the people hashtagging photos with#liveauthentic and #socality.

Darby created the spoof Instagram account featuring images of Barbie enjoying an enviably wholesome lifestyle. According to TMZ the account became so popular, gathering more than 1.3 million followers. Which goes totally against what Darby had envisioned. She also said the account was never meant to be a long term project.

Darby Cisneros allegedly got offers from big companies to do promos, but turned them all down. Cisneros thinks this is the perfect time to shut it down because HB is still relevant.

Along to a last snap she revealed her identify, telling fans:

American film and television screenwriter, Melissa Mathison, who was married for over two decades to renowned actor, Harrison Ford has died. Mathison died Wednesday at age 65 at UCLA Medical Center; after a fight with neuroendocrine cancer.

Melissa Mathison was born June 3, 1950 in Los Angeles. She was the daughter of journalist, Richard Randolph Mathison and publicist mother Margaret Jean “Pegeen.” She was one of five children, including brothers Dirk Mathison and Mark Mathison and sisters Melinda and Stephanie Mathison.

Melissa Mathison was a political science major at UC Berkeley when she took a leave to work as Francis Ford Coppola’s assistant on “The Godfather, Part II,” in 1995, the Times reported.

Melissa Mathison knew success at a young age. She was in her early 30s when she stroke gold with the phenomenon of “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.” She spent eight weeks writing “E.T.” It made $793 million at the box office worldwide. The script for “E.T.” earned Mathison her first and only Oscar nomination.

Her film credits also include “The Black Stallion” (1979), “The Escape Artist” (1982) and “The Indian in the Cupboard” (1995). “Kundun” (1997), a movie about the Dalai Lama’s childhood and growth into a young man.

Melissa Mathison, being directly linked to film making, met her future husband, precisely on the set of “Apocalypse Now” in 1976. The who would marry in 1983 and divorced in 2004 after multiple separations. From her marriage to the actor, she became the mother of their two children, Georgia and Malcolm Ford.

From 1983 to 1985, Melissa Mathison, put her career on hold to become a mother and wife. She and her ten husband and kids, lived on a 700-acre ranch outside Jackson Hole, Wyo.

Both her children, Georgia 24, and brother Malcom 27, have followed into their famous father’s footsteps by becoming actors. Malcolm is also a musician with band The Dough Rollers.

Her last credited work is on Spielberg’s big screen adaptation of Roald Dahl’s beloved novel “The BFG,” which comes out next year.

It’s been 13-years since one heartbroken mother last saw her 5-year-old son. In August of 2002 Julian Hernandez, was reported missing by his mother –who is yet to be named.

Just a few days ago, on November 1st, the Vestavia Hills Police Department was contacted by FBI Agents from Cleveland, Ohio in regard to a missing child from Vestavia Hills.

According to reports, authorities were able to identify the 2002 missing child as Julian Hernandez, after efforts from Members of the FBI’s Violent Crime Task Force in Cleveland, with help from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the Vestavia Hills Police Department, and the Birmingham Division of the FBI.

Julian, now 18, was able to regain his real identify after his school counselor, helped the teen with his college application, which presented a  Social Security number that could not be verified, according to WVTM-TV,Birmingham, Ala.

Thankfully, Julian also known in recent years as “J.J” was found well and unharmed. He had been living with his father, 53-year-old Bobby Hernandez, who took him when he was just a boy.

At the time of the abduction, Julian Hernandez’s mother said she suspected her son had been taken by his father and police classified the crime as non-custodial parental abduction.

What happened was, that Bobby Hernandez, took little Julian without having the boy’s custody. Hernandez was supposed to be taking his son to preschool the day of August 2002, but instead he fled and Julian was never dropped off.

Julian and his father left Birmingham, Alabama and settled in Ohio.

Julian Hernandez’s mother was notified of his recovery, AL.com reports. while his father, is accused of tampering with records in Ohio so he could obtain a driver’s license in 2012. He is being held on $250,000 bond in Cuyahoga County and also will face charges almost 650 miles away in Alabama for his son’s abduction when he is extradited.

Julian Hernandez had been living with his father, a woman and two other children in the Cleveland home for the past three-years.

This is certainly not your typical missing child story, but it certainly has a very happy ending, for Julian Hernandez’s mother.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Ivanka’s husband was also the owner of The Beverly Hills Choppers. During an interview, when asked about how he compares to other companies like Orange County Choppers, Fratto said:

They are building motorcycles, I am building scooters — in no way shape or form do I belong in a category with them. You can compare my product to a Vespa [scooter] on steroids.

He was close to many celebrities including, Nicole Richie, Nikky and Paris Hilton, Adrianne Curry, Nicole Eggert.J ohnny Fratto was also in an episode of Deadliest Warrior as an expert on Al Capone.

Johnny is also a published author, he wrote a 2012 book titled Would You Read This Book if I Threatened to Kill You?  In it, he talks about his life as a Midwest Mafia prince.

Ivanka Fratto and Johnny became parents to Johnny Fratto Jr. who is an actor, according to US Weekly.

Some outlets also describe his now widow, as Jowanka Fratto.

Ivanka’s hubby was also well known for his friendship with one of Stern’s most popular guests, Eric “The Actor” Lynch, the diminutive, profanity-spouting caller who specialized in insulting Stern and who died last year.

Russell Taylor, a 43-year-old married father from Indianapolis, Indiana, was charged in April by state and federal authorities with possession of child pornography, production of child pornography, child exploitation and voyeurism. He ran Jared Fogle’s anti-childhood obesity charity.

A few months later, in July, the FBI conducted a search at Fogle’s Zionsville, Indiana, residence, as part of the child porn investigation. Soon after, the once Subway pitchman, who inspired many –plead guilty to one count of distribution and receipt of child pornography and one count of traveling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor.

It’s been reported Russell allegedly produced child porn for Fogle to watch.

The brave Analissa stepped up to talk about the alleged abuse and appeared on an episode of Dr. Phil reports say. According to her own recount of facts, Analissa was just 14 when she first became involved with the charity.

She revealed she was groomed and manipulated by Russell Taylor. She spoke of how Taylor used hidden cameras to film her when she was just 14 years old.

Analissa also said she felt ‘brainwash’ she was absolutely convinced by age 16, she and Taylor would engage in sexual intercourse.

The now 16-year-old said she came forward after listening phone recordings in which Fogel speaks of his attraction to young boys and girls.

The child sex scandal was taken to another level when a former journalist by the name of Rochelle Herman-Walrond recorded phone calls while talking to Fogle’s disturbing acts. She worked with the FBI for 5-years to unmask Fogle.

After listening the phone conversations between Rochelle and Fogle, Analissa felt compelled to speak out for herself and the other victims.

Since confessing to his crimes, Fogle has been under house arrest while wearing an electronic tag.
The disgraced Subway king, is facing up to 12 and a half years behind bars when he is sentenced on November 19.

Angelika Graswald has bee charged with the murder of her fiancée! The 35-year-old woman was kayaking with her fiance Vince Viafore in Poughkeepsie, when his kayak sunk, killing him.

She has been charged in his murder and is awaiting her trial. In a 20/20 interview the blonde, Angelika Graswald claims she is innocent of any wrongdoing but allegedly confessed after being pressured by police.

Angelika Graswald came to the U.S. in 2000 to work as a nanny but she decided to stay. She met Vince Viafore in 2013 and just a few months after meeting she moved in with him and soon got engaged.

Fast forward to the present year. Back in April, prosecutors said, Angelika Graswald pulled fiancé Vincent Viafore’s paddle away and watched as he drowned in the cold waters of the Hudson River on 19 April. She allegedly wanted Viafore dead for his life insurance.

Angelika proceeded to call police to report her fiance vanished after his kayak capsized on the Hudson River outside New York City. The blonde –who is originally from Latvian –then told police conflicting stories while his body remained missing.

On April 19, Angelika Graswald and Viafore left in separate kayaks from Plum Point. Viafore allegedly held on to his kayak for about 5-10 minutes before it capsized.

Angelika watched the whole thing but called police about 20 minutes later. She told reporters at the time, “I saw him struggling a little bit. He was trying to figure out how to paddle the waves because they were getting crazy and, then I just saw him flip.”

Viafore’s body was discovered in the Hudson River near the Cornwall Yacht Club on 23 May.

Inconsistencies in Graswald’s statements led to her arrest. According to CBS New York, Police initially believed Viafore died of an accidental drowning as he returned from a trip to Bannerman Island. But later, prosecutors formally indicted Graswald with second-degree murder and second degree manslaughter –after it was revealed she allegedly tampered with Viafore’s kayak, removing a plug from the vessel, causing it to fill with water.

According to prosecutors, Graswald knew she was the beneficiary of two life insurance policies belonging to her 46-year-old fiancé, which combined were worth $250,000. They describe the motive for the murder as dissatisfaction in the relationship.

Angelika Graswald has kept her innocence and her lawyer claims his client’s statements to police were coerced. Things are not looking very good for the Latvian born woman. Back in September the Daily Mail reported she was kept in an interrogation room for 11-hours and allegedly said she ‘wanted him dead.”

The outlet also reported experts, believe Angelika Graswald was manipulated into confessing. Can you say Jodie Arias? She is being held in the Orange County Jail in New York on a $9 million bond.

Carlyle Arnold, is the owner of the two-year-old pit bull named Kane who mauled a nine-year-old girl to her who was visiting a friend for a play date. The dog was killed by police and owner Carlyle Arnold was arrested.

29-year-old Carlyle Arnold, lives on the second floor of the building located on 236 Holland Ave. in Elmont where a nine-year-old girl was playing in the back yard with two friends.

It was around 10:30 Carlyle Arnold’s male pit bull dog Kane attacked the little girl, neighbors said that despite their efforts to free the little girl, Kane refused to let her go.

“He was holding her somewhere on the side — I don’t know if it was the ears or the neck — and he was throwing her around like a rag doll. ” said a next-door neighbor.
“The two [other] little girls ran down the street, screaming, ‘Help! Help! Help!’ I tried to take my broom and push the dog off through the fence. And the doctor up the block was trying to help, too. He threw a garbage can at the dog, but he wouldn’t let her go.’’

Kane tried to attack the cops who arrived at the scene who had no other choice but to fired three shots killed the dog, The poor child was rushed to Franklin Hospital where she died a few hours later, her little body was covered with dog bites. Mr. Arnold was arrested on an unrelated charge, violating an order of protection. It is believe Carlyle was not home at the time of  the attack.

Carlyle Arnold’s family and neighbors shaken by the tragedy are also surprised that Kane attacked a child even more that he killed her. They added that Kane was a fine and gentle dog, tough but that usually interacted well with everybody.

“He was a good dog — that’s what I don’t understand. ” Carlyle Arnold’s uncle Anthony Jett who lives in the house where Kane attacked the little girl said. “He was a beast because he was a pit, but he was very gentle.”
“Dogs can flip sometimes. ” he said. “They don’t respect kids like they respect adults.”

Neighbor Vito Rendace added that Kane was an “OK’’ dog.

“I mean, if somebody came too close to the house, he would react,” he said. “He would start barking. Nonetheless, that was the extent of it. I never thought he would maul anybody.”
